As one wise knucklehead warned in today's edition of The Sun, there was nothing to worry about in the Rajon Rondo situation.
Yahoo! Sports basketball writer Marc Spears reports this morning that the Boston Celtics and the point guard's agent have reached an agreement on a contract extension. Spears has the deal as a five-year extension which guarantees Rondo at least $55 million.
The deadline for reaching a contract extension is today. If an extension is not finalized before the end of the day, Rondo becomes a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
