Game 2: Pistons 103, Celtics 97, final

The Pistons became the first team in these playoffs to beat the Celtics at the TD Banknorth Garden, evening the series 1-1.

Rip Hamitlon finished with 25 points, and the Pistons had six players score 12 or more points.

Boston's three-headed All-Star attack of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Kevin Garnett had 26 points, 24 points, and 25 points, respectively.

The series now heads to Detroit for Game 3 Saturday.
