Celtics 41, Pistons 40, at half

Kevin Garnett leads all scoers with 14 points, and Antonio McDyess still leads the Pistons (10 points).

Detroit had a better offensive performance in the second quarter. Detroit shot 5-of-12, knocked down a pair of three-pointers, and limited themselves to one turnover. Rodney Stuckey chipped in 6 points off the bench.
