Where the heck is Ellsbury! They may as well have traded him for Santana if they're not going to use him. He's twice the player as Coco Crispies is.

Should have made the trade anyway, Dennis. But you're right...this playing Coco more than Elsbury is simply ridiculous.

The theory is they're trying to showcase him...the only thing they're showcasing is that he's a 4th or 5th outfielder and defensive replacement at best. Leave him on the bench for two weeks at a time so they can at least use the excuse he's rusty, so that's why he swings a spaghetti bat!

Don't worry - once the Mets are out of contention (which looks to be about mid May) they will have plenty of surplus pitching to deal...
