The National Pro Fastpitch Championship Series will be making it's home in the Kimberly, Wisconsin, according a story posted on the NPF website this past week.

Cardinal Youth Softball, Inc., has reportedly reached an agreement to host the NPF in 2007, 2008 and 2009. This year's championship series, which features the top four teams in the league, will be played on Aug. 24-26 at Sunset Park.

The 2006 NPF Championship Series was held at DeLuca Field in Stratford, Connecticut, with the Lowell-based New England Riptide bringing home the Cawles Cup thanks in large part to a pair of seven-inning shutouts from series MVP Jocelyn Forest.

More information may come out today as a press conference has been scheduled in Wisconsin for this afternoon.
