If you missed last night’s SunTalk Live, you missed out on a lot. Besides a visit from Troy Renck, the Denver Post writer who broke the Todd Helton trade rumors, we unveiled a bit of big news about the future of the show.

SportsTalk Live has a new home base, at least for the first Monday of every month. Hookslide Kelly’s, Lowell’s newest and best sports bar, is now the official sponsor of the program. As part of the partnership, we’ll be doing our show from Hookslide Kelly’s once a month, beginning next Monday night. The webcam is coming along, too, and we’re working on ways of synching it up with a few of the 22-TV’s that surround the room.

You’re invited to stop on by and visit the Merrimack Street location in Downtown Lowell. Besides callers, we’ll be taking questions and comments from guests at the bar. We’ll also give away a pair of tickets to the following night’s Golden Gloves boxing card at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

So come down to Hookslide Kelly’s this coming Monday night. Lowell’s hottest place to watch the game just got a whole lot hotter!
