It may not mean anything and it may not matter to anyone other than a hockey fan, but watching the SuperSkills competition last night was fun.

Sidney Crosby, who is 0-for-5 in shootouts on the season, beat Roberto Luongo twice to give the East the 15-11 victory. (For the record Crosby also scored against Mikka Kiprusoff earlier in the 2nd round of the Shootout.
Anytime you can see Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, Eric Staal, Joe Thornton, Daniel Briere, Jonathan Cheechoo, Martin Havlat, Martin St. Louis, Vinny Lecavalier and so many others - it's just fun, plain and simple fun.
It is amazing to watch these guys and see their individual skills during the Puck Control Relay and In the Zone (where three players must make at least two passes before shooting), along with Shot Accuracy and obviously the shootout.
I don't think anyone was shocked when Bruins Captain Zdeno Chara registered 100.4 MPH in the Hardest Shot and won the event for the East.
Before the SuperSkills took the ice in Dallas, the YoungStars played their game, where another Bruin shined through.
Phil Kessel scored a hat trick and ironically Evgeni Malkin did not even register a sinlge point in the East's 9-8 victory.
Again the game does not matter and neither do the points, but it sure was nice to see Kessel participate after returning from testicular cancer.
On a side note it was absolutely hilarious to see Chara standing next to Cristobal Huet during the player introductions. Chara really is a monster compared to everyone.
The All Stars take the ice tonight, and even though it doesn't count and it doesn't mean anything - I'm thinking with the line combinations available for both sides, the game is simply going to be fun to watch.
