Last week I was in my car following an assignment and noticed I had two voice mails on my cell from my friend Jane.
I honestly didn't know what to think because her 10-year-old daughter, Justine, was in MassGeneral being treated for cancer.
As I listened to the messages a great big smile came across my face, in fact I was laughing when I called her back.
When she answered the phone the exact words I gave her were "Brad Boyes and Patrice Bergeron"
She was dumbfounded and didn't know what I meant.
Her message to me was #26 and #37 of the Boston Bruins stopped by her daughters room. I was simply telling her who they were.
Jane told me that Justin was just so happy that "someone famous had stopped by to see her."
Justine is suffering from Osteosaracoma and is battling everyday, anything that makes her smile is worth it these days!
Now, I know the Bruins do this every holiday season, but it means so much more when they put a smile on your friend's daughter's face!

Heck of an article, that's what Christmas is all about. I wish your friend and her daughter the best...Happy Holidays, keep up the good work on the blogs
God Bless Them, If you've ever been to a childrens Cancer Hospital you know it's not easy to put on a happy face and Play with the kids.
That's what sports is all about!
