Phat Tuesday

donut.jpeg Check your Lenten calendar kids, it's the day before Ash Wednesday and that means time to pig out. In this never-ending season of restraint, there's no better time to let loose and chow down on something (or several things) sinful. So let your cravings take flight. Someone asked me where she could score a paczkis? Translation: a Polish jelly-filled donut traditionally eaten this time of year. I drew a blank. But I do know where one can wrestle a cheeseburger donut. This donut and Bavarian cream two-fer at Donna's Donuts in Tewskbury sounds dastardly, but five out of six stonners can't be wrong. Also from the looks of the mint green boxes pilling up in cubicles around the office today, it's Girl Scout Cookie time. Good timing scouts. I'd like to lasso a Tagalong, pronto. What are you craving today?

I was actually craving Ole, when we got there we realized it was closed. We ended up going to Moonstones and had a great meal...but really, who closes Sunday through Tuesday? and during Great Plates week???

Phantom Gourmet actually did a review on this Burger Donut from Donna's...I wasn't really craving anything until I was reminded of it here! Luckily I drive through Tewksbury on my way home from work....
