Will Gilson, who cut his paring knife at the Herb Lyceum in Groton that bears his name, has been a Hub darling since his Garden at the Cellar opened in Cambridge. Last week the kitchen star made the short list for a James Beard Award. He is one of 10 competing for rising new chef title.
