Quite the spread

Deborah%27sKitchen_LIT_KB_015.jpg I just paid a visit to Deborah's Kitchen in Littleton and discovered a great product: spreadable fruit. The crafty woman has concocted 14 flavors of these gourmet spreads, so named because they have less than 30 percent sugar. yeah! After the holidaze, I am ready to hang up the sugar IV for a spell. From pear lime limbo, to fig ginger, to hot, hot peach, there's a flavor for every whim and hankering. Toss these jams on fruit, goat cheese or yogurt, or add a touch to hearty vegetable like beets or turnips

Wacky restaurant promo of the week: Get snowed in at Prezza. The North End Italian eatery invites guests to swing by whenever the snow flies this winter to enjoy a complimentary half order of handmade Potato Gnocchi a la Bolognese with the purchase of a glass of Barolo wine ($15). Ummmm, I saw some flakes a few minutes ago, does that count?

Tried the Fig over the weekend. It was delicious. Slathered it over some goat cheese and ate the whole thing, with friends of course! Thanks for the tip.
