Dog gone deal

hot-dog.jpg If you like hot dogs here's a way to beat the recession. Enter the hot dog eating contest at the Big Kahuna in Chelmsford Nov. 1 and if you can stuff enough franks into your maw, you'll walk away $200 richer. Not bad, eh? The baddest dogs in town Bad Dawgs teams up w/ tiki party bar just in time to s-t-r-e-t-c-h your stomach for Thanksgiving. Bad Dawgs has opened a second location on Huntington Ave. @ Mass Ave recently. Looks like a pretty chill locale, w/ couches and other college-approved magnets. And speaking of this Northeastern/Symphony nexus, Betty's Noodle House is a great little find. On a recent Sunday our party of four enjoyed oddles of noodles in this kitchy spot. Create your own noodle plate w/ sauce, protein and toppings and oh!!, don't forget the fried onion rings. To live for. Incidently they mix a great pina colada here too. Strange, but good combo, believe me.

I'm so happy to hear you give props to Betty's Wok & Noodle. I work at NU and frequent Betty's. I fell in love with their fusion noodle dishes, love the fact that they turn up the heat on dishes by request, and the Sake mojito is to die for! Still haven't tried Bad Dawgs, but I'm sure I will soon enough.

Betty's Wok & Noodle is a great place to eat. They have awesome food. I went there on a first date a year ago and we're still goin' strong. I suspect the awesome basil pesto tofu has something to do with that.
