Something Serene this way comes

serene.jpg OK, buffalo wings aside, Serene in Andover is a must visit. I went to this Andover hideaway last week and have been remiss at blogging about it. Chef Carlos Penate is a gifted man. And owner Sally Fabian does not skimp in the kitch. How do I know this? He told me. This guy can order whatever he wants and when a restaurateur doesn't skimp, you can taste it. Nothing stingy here. The cioppino brims with saffron/seafood goodness and the body likes it. I would equate the ciopinno at Serene to a meal at the Four Seasons, there are no wrong moves. This must be the 200th signature dish I have done and let me state right here, it was the best! Read tomorrow's sun for details or go to www.lowellsun.com/signaturedish. High above downtown A, this Italian-American bistro (formerly Vincenzos) is a romantic spot. Im already booking my Valentines dinner here. See ya at the bistro tables!
