I've been channeling Snickers all week. In the run-up to Halloween there's nothing more fun to fantasize about than candy. Or, as we called it back in the day, loot!
Good news is we don't have to dress up like the Road Runner and fight to breathe through a plastic mask w/ too few holes to get our hands on the goods.
I'm especially sweet on those fun-sized bites of caramel, nuts and nugget. There seems to be a shortage of nugget for most of the year. But in the latter half of October this fluff appears everywhere. What is the fluff inside a Three Musketeers bar? Probably a chemical stew that will outlive us all, but dag-nabit the sweet substance sure goes down nicely when the witches and ghouls come a calling. I've also been craving tootsie rolls for the past two weeks. These perfect little chocolate gums you digest are especially tasty when paired w/ coffee. Try it. What's your favorite Halloween guilty pleasure? Kids and dentists can't have all the fun.
What's with all the cravings GG? Are you pregnant? lol I know i'm off topic but i tried gemstones(upstairs from the shamrock) this past week. I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. I had ribs and they were pretty good. The wife had the Prime Rib and that was good as well. The place looks very nice as well.
Don't eat too much candy GG, save some for the trick or treaters
I must confess...we broke down and broke into our Halloween candy supply a week ago. I had to re-stock because the hubby has a taste for the Kit Kats and I love Peanut M&M's. I have to agree with you on the Snickers, these are by far my fave, and that's why I didn't stock up on the stuff. I thought it would be safer not to have it in the house. Maybe I'll swap for some snickers when the kids come a callin'. Oh and I can't forget TWIX...love the stuff. I deprived myself of that too.
