Is this Lexingtion?

Steps from where British soldiers were gunned down during the Revolutionary War, a hip lounge has sprung up. The WXYZ bar in the aloft hotel seems about as out of place as a pitbull w/ lipstick at an Obama rally. But there it is, all color, cool and charisma tucked away in this leafy Boston burb. The menu, more of a suggestion, is slight — chips and guac, steamed edamame and spiced olives. Enough to keep the blood flowing, but an insult to entree-only types. Of course you don't go to WXYZ for food. It's all about the sass emanating from this W hotel. That's right tweedy Lexington (Minuteman Central) gets a W, before Boston. Good going Battle Green town. In the mod-mod lobby a sunken room with a starry bar, fireplace, fuchsia cushion and flat screens await. On Thursdays a DJ gets the place bumping. There's a nice outdoor deck and pool table too.
