Breakfast for the morning after

break.JPG So much for the big two. Pierce and Garnett disappoint as does our boy Powe. Don't know what the sports blogs are saying today, but I feel like drowning my Game 3 blues in a hearty breakfast. And while Im at it, I feel like getting out of the state. Maine sounds about right. If this was possible Id hit Amore Breakfast in Ogunquit. Mid-week is a good time to visit this dynamite breakfast joint known for its loving combinations like Banana Foster, a pecan-coated cream-cheese-stuffed French toast w/ a side of sautéed bananas in a rum syrup Decadent? Oh yeah. We need a little sweetness after the Green Team looked like the JV team at the free throw line last night. Come on Doc Rivers, make free throws the priority from here on out. Still feeling crabby? The lobster benedict, sautéed pieces of sweet meat on an English muffin topped w/ hollandaise should reverse your game. The homemade lemon bread French toasted stuffed w/ cream cheese and topped w/ black and blueberries is a nice play too. Each perfect bite will make you forget about a man named Kobe. Is there nothing he can't hit? Opps I see on their menu they brew coffee from West Coast Coffee Roasters. What? Are they mad? Let's hope (like the Laker's new found synergy) this is subject to change. This little gem is open from 7 to 1, all week in the summer. www.amorebreakfast.com. How are you nursing your Game 3 hangover?

Oooh, I have to try this place. Have you been to the Impastable Dream up there? It's an unexpectedly delish Italian restaurant. I had the most amazing dish the last time I went up to Ogunquit. Check it out sometime if you haven't already.

Also....I bet you're Celtics blues have all but gone away after Yesterday's AMAZING game. I know mine have. ;) Who would have thought that was possible?
