brunch crunch

What's up w/ local restaurants canceling their brunches at a time when we need it the most? It’s almost February. If we venture outside at all on a dark, cold Sunday there better be troths of coffee and pretty looking eggs bene waiting. Complimentary mimosas? Yes please. Centro 86'd its Sunday brunch two weeks ago and the Old Court hasn't had its banger and mash bash since last winter. How is a blogger supposed to nurse a hangover in this town? The b-marys at the OC were second to none, and the brown bread primo. If one wants to grab a weekend morning bite-out we are stuck w/ old school lunch counters like Vic’s in Centralville (a drip and muffin joint). I hear Owen and Ollies in D-cut has a Sun. brunch has anyone been? Too bad the doubletree is so benighted, hotels usually roll out the best spreads. What's wrong w/ Cobblestones? This centrally located spot is ground zero for a carvining station. The Left Bank may be the best bet around. Cinamon brioches, cobb salad in a cool, luxe atmos. Has anyone been? Know of a good place?

Michael Timothy's has a divine (if a tad expensive) Sunday Brunch.

If people would get out and go these places could continue their brunches. I attended many sunday brunches at centros only to find a handfull of people eating. Unlike off the menu ordering, brunch needs to be prepaired ahead of time and with poor turn a continuous poor turn out there is too much of a loss for it to make sence.

Steve makes a point. I for one had not gotten around to hitting up centro's repast, even though I live less than a block west.
My new new year's resolution is to attend more brunches. Let's start a brunch club!

Ahhh, the brunch crowd. Crowds? Where? Centro had a brunch for a number of weeks, but not too many came for it. Perhaps a bit early in the business to expand into brunch. Cafe Paradiso has had a brunch since last spring I believe. The crowd has been seasonal as the weather. I have been there quite often and enjoy the selections. I bring my NYT and relax for awhile before heading out for the day. Where are you, my fellow Lowellians?

I know it's a bit of a hike but the Atkinson Country Club in New Hampshire has the best brunch spread around...in my humble opinion of course. There is a little bit of everything for everyone. The meat carving station is fabulous!
I have also had brunch at Michael Tim's and agree that it is a good time had by all!

I hounded the waitress at the OC a month or so back about the brunch, it was one of the best. Speaking of, is there any place local (as in NOT Boston) where one can get an Irish breakfast?

Cobblestones does ab AMAZING brunch for Mothers day, they should do it all year round, it was outstanding.

I think Jimmy's on 110 still does it, but I think you have to be 80 to get in.

Now I am hungry.

Krista,
Try the Emerald Rose in Billerica. Hear they have bangers and mash, nice atmosphere too. Fireplace (not real).

We were at Owen and Ollie's for their last brunch day a few months ago :( Not enough people were coming. Total bummer.

I'd love to see somebody serve Dim Sum in DTL. That would make waking up on Sunday worthwhile...

Cafe Aiello has the best gelato in the DTL area in my opinion. The owner Aaron not only V the in's & out's of his Java, cappuccino & lattes - but he knows a thing or two about how to present and preserve those delicious flavors of gelato..........try a little bit of each and Cafe Ailleo will pack it all in to a hip styrofoam container with a plastic seal/cover straight from Italy.

and so forth He is not of your order keep to your caste, and be http://idisk.mac.com/freemoviesofmusclarl/Public/1/lesbian-kissing-film-on-the-web.html >lesbian kissing film on the web palette could yield, and as glittering distinctness as my pencil kuyftjupzqk
