Matthew McConaughey’s longtime model girlfriend, Camila Alves, has given birth to the couple’s first child, a 7-pound, 4-ounce boy, according to "OK! Magazine".

Alves, 24, gave birth Monday night in California, according to the report.

The 38-year-old actor announced that Alves was pregnant in a posting on his Web site in January.

“Camila and I were side by side the entire time,” McConaughey told the magazine. “We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world — having a child and making a family.”

“Now comes the greatest adventure — raising one, together.”

Aw, how cute. I wonder if Matty Jr. will take up the bongos!

Just another manic Monday...I wish it was Sunday. Oh wait, is that what Nicole Kidman was thinking? The statuesque actress gave birth yesterday to a daughter she named Sunday.

A publicist for her husband, Keith Urban, released a statement saying: “Nicole and Keith Urban are delighted to announce that Nicole Kidman gave birth to a baby girl on Monday morning, July 7, 2008, in the United States. Sunday Rose Kidman Urban weighed 6 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces. Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side and mother and baby are very well.”

Urban posted a message on his Web Site that said: “Earlier this morning Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.”

The baby is the first for Kidman and Urban, who married in June 2006. She has two children, Isabella and Connor, from her marriage to Tom Cruise. Kidman recently told Vanity Fair that she had a miscarriage early on in her relationship with Cruise, leading them to adopt.

According to the New York Daily News A-Rod and his wife have split less than three months after the birth of the couple’s second daughter.

The story on the newspaper’s Web site comes amid reports linking Rodriguez to Madonna. Rodriguez refused to address the topic on three occasions Tuesday, once saying “no” when asked if he had any comment.

Yankees co-chairman Hank Steinbrenner also criticized the team’s lack of hitting before an 18-7 win over the Texas Rangers on Wednesday night, suggesting “a little less outside distractions and a little more concentrating” might help the team at the plate.

The Daily News reported Wednesday night, citing an anonymous source, that Rodriguez and wife, Cynthia, have separated after having “problems” for about three months.
Cynthia Rodriguez’s mother, Evangeline Scurtis, who has family ties here in Lowell also denied a gossip Web site report that her daughter had gone on a romantic getaway with rocker Lenny Kravitz to Paris.

“She is not! I know that,” Scurtis told The Daily News.

Kravitz issued a statement of denial Thursday.

“Cynthia is a friend and is here with the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex’s trainer, his wife and their baby girl. She came here to escape from everything happening in New York City,” he said. “I opened my home to her as a friend and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer.”

Angelina Jolie has checked into a hospital in the south of France where she is expected to give birth to her twins, a hospital spokesman said today.

Nadine Bauer, press attache for the Lenval Hospital in Nice, said Jolie is fine and that everything is going well. She said Jolie’s admittance to the maternity wing had been planned for some time.

Bauer said the 33-year-old actress will almost certainly remain in the hospital until she gives birth. She said Jolie was admitted so she could be kept under normal surveillance — and is not expected to give birth immediately.

Bauer said Jolie was admitted recently but wouldn’t say exactly when.

“There’s no urgency. It’s been planned for a long time,” she said. “She’s very well. Everything is fine.”
Jolie has said the babies are due in August. She and partner Brad Pitt have four children: Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2.

The Brangelina clan has been settling into a new home in the south of France. They recently moved into the Miraval Estate villa in the French hamlet of Correns, in the Provence region.

Britney Spears wants the American dream — white picket fence and a big back yard where she can raise her sons.

Court records show Brit is house-hunting. She wants a home with a larger yard that’s closer to parks and recreation areas for her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James. She also wants a “less trafficked” locale than her paparazzi-stalked Beverly Hills home, which she bought for nearly $7 million early last year.

Spears’ father, James, requested the sale in mid-June, and a court commissioner agreed. James Spears is acting as his daughter’s conservator following several incidents of erratic behavior by the 26-year-old singer.

In shocking news (o.k. it's a slow gossip day) Lindsay Lohan’s father says he’s looking into a claim by a woman who says she had a daughter by him.

Michael Lohan said in a statement that he once had a relationship with a woman named Kristy, though he hadn’t seen her in 12 years. He said the two were seeing each other while he was separated from Dina Lohan.

“Years later she contacted me convincing me that I was the only person she was with and that she had my child,” the statement said. “My lawyers will sort this out.”

Why Kristy wants to admit she was with Lohan is more of a mystery than who the father is.

OK! magazine, for which Michael Lohan has written a blog, first reported the story. It said the girl is now 13.

Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby girl Thursday morning at a south Mississippi hospital. People is reporting that she named her daughter, Maddie Briann.

A person close to the Spears family confirmed the baby’s birth to The Associated Press. The person asked not to be identified because the family had not yet announced the baby’s birth.

The 17-year-old was the star of Nickelodeon’s “Zoey 101” and is the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears. The Spears family announced in December that Jamie Lynn was pregnant. The father is Casey Aldridge, a pipe-layer from Liberty, Miss. The couple is not married.

Bono, Bob Geldof are among a group of celebrities pressed the world’s wealthiest countries Wednesday to come through with more pledged financial aid for Africa.

The Irish rock stars-turned-activists presented a new report that found the Group of Eight countries have collectively donated a fraction of the $22 billion in extra funds they pledged in 2005 to be paid by 2010.

The report by Data, an advocacy group aimed at wiping out extreme poverty and AIDS in Africa, says targeted aid is working, but countries are falling behind in their commitments.
Bono, Geldof, singer Angelique Kidjo, tennis star-turned-singer Yannick Noah and aid workers laid out the findings in Paris, partly to put pressure on France near the July 1 start of its presidency of the European Union.

The report said that France’s assistance to sub-Saharan Africa fell $66 million from 2006 to 2007; that Germany, Italy and Canada are off “track;” and that “more is needed” from Japan. The United States and Britain appear set to meet their targets by 2010, it said.

A paparazzo who pressed charges against Brit after her car allegedly ran over his foot is to blame for any injury it may have caused.

After reviewing police records and a videotape of the incident, the deputy district attorney said that the “only way the victim’s foot could have been where the video indicates it to be was by the victim placing it in that location.”

In other words, sorry buddy you’re not cashing in on Miss Spears fortune.

The photographer, who was not identified in the report, filed a criminal complaint against Spears in early May, nearly six months after the alleged incident. He sought a felony charge of failing to stop after an accident involving an injury.

The 26-year-old pop star has had her share of trouble behind the wheel, including a highly publicized incident in 2006 where she was photographed driving with her son on her lap. A misdemeanor hit-and-run charge stemming from a 2007 parking lot crash was dismissed after she settled with the car’s owner. In October, she pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving without a valid license, and earlier this year was involved in a minor fender-bender on a Los Angeles freeway.

Also Monday, documents were released detailing a request from Spears’ father for payments relating to his conservatorship arrangement.

The document filed on behalf of James Spears seeks an undisclosed amount of money for helping his daughter shop for groceries, handle custody issues with her husband, Kevin Federline, and visiting her in the hospital in February and March. The filing also states that he held meetings to shore up security at Spears’ homes and occasionally cooked meals.

A spokesman for Amy Winehouse says the 24-year-old singer has been taken to a London hospital after a fainting spell.

Winehouse spokesman Chris Goodman says Winehouse fainted Monday afternoon at her north London home. Goodman says her manager’s assistant was there and caught her as she fell.

Goodman says Winehouse’s father, Mitch, took her to a hospital as a precaution. She is undergoing tests and may be kept in overnight.

Police say the wife of rapper Snoop Dogg has been arrested in California’s Orange County for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol.

No word if it was gin and juice or a 40 oz. she was drinking that evening.

Fullerton police stopped 32-year-old Shante Broadus of Sherman Oaks about 12:15 a.m. Saturday and took her to jail. She was cited and then released pending a court appearance.
No one else was in the car with Mrs. Dogg.

Broadus and Snoop Dogg — whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr. — were married in 1997 and have three children.

It’s certainly not the O.J. Simpson spectacle or the bizarre Phil Spector tale. There is no bloody glove or wild wigs. But R.Kelly’s trial is finally over after six years of allegations and investigations.

A Chicago jury acquitted R. Kelly on all counts at his child pornography trial yesterday.

Kelly was charged with 14 counts of videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl, who prosecutors say was as young as 13. If convicted, he faced up to 15 years in prison. He would have also had to register as a sex offender in Illinois.

The prosecution’s star witness was a woman who said she engaged in three-way sex with Kelly and the girl from the video. Defense attorneys argued the man on the tape didn’t have a large mole on his back, as Kelly does.

Jurors began deliberating Thursday afternoon and continued for three hours. They returned Friday morning and were immediately sequestered.

There were two jurors who had some issues with the case. One sent a note to the judge after three hours of deliberations Friday that read: “How can I be removed and go home? I really need to.”

Judge Vincent Gaughan called attorneys into the courtroom, told them about the note but adjourned before dealing with the matter.

Earlier in the morning, the judge called attorneys in to discuss another juror, who became frustrated by slow service during dinner the night before and started banging a bottle on the table and cursing. That juror was allowed to remain on the panel after other jurors indicated they could continue working with him.

The 41-year-old superstar, who has pleaded not guilty, was charged in 2002. His trial was repeatedly delayed, once because the judge seriously injured himself falling off a ladder and another time because Kelly had emergency surgery to remove his appendix.

Both Kelly and the alleged victim, now 23, deny being on the tape.

The jury in the R. Kelly child pornography case has reached a verdict after less than a day of deliberations.

Judge Vincent Gaughan is scheduled to read the verdict this afternoon.

Katherine Heigl won’t be chewing her manicure at this year’s Emmy ceremony. No, tears of joy or stumbling acceptance speeches for Dr. Izzie Stevens. Heigl says she didn’t seek a nomination because Grey’s Anatomy failed to deliver the goods for an award-worthy performance.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds.

The tall blonde was honored as best supporting actress in a drama last year for the ABC series, but declined to put her name in consideration for a bid, a spokeswoman for the actress said Wednesday.

“I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization” decided against competing, Heigl said in a written statement.

“In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials,” she added.

This is not the first time the outspoken actress has put her two cents. Heigl, who shot to box-office success last summer with the comedy Knocked Up, told Vanity Fair the hit film “a little sexist.” She also said that it painted women as “shrews, as humorless and uptight,” while the male characters were lovable and goofy.

When Grey’s castmates Isaiah Washington and T.R. Knight clashed last year over Washington’s alleged use of a homophobic slur. Heigl responded by saying, “I’m going to be really honest right now, he needs to just not speak in public. Period.”

Paul Newman, the legendary actor and philanthropist, is battling cancer, his longtime neighbor and business partner said Wednesday.

Newman, 83, has recently appeared gaunt in photos, and dropped plans to direct a play in his Connecticut hometown. Writer A.E. Hotchner, who partnered with Newman to start Newman’s Own salad dressing company in the 1980s, said the actor told him about the disease about 18 months ago. He did not specify what kind of cancer, but said Newman is in active treatment.
“I know that it’s a form of cancer,” Hotchner told The Associated Press. “It’s a form of cancer and he’s dealing with it.”

Newman issued a statement late Tuesday that he’s “doing nicely” but didn’t specifically address questions about cancer. A call was placed to his spokesman Wednesday seeking comment.
Hotchner said Newman had an operation a few years ago. “It was certainly somewhere in the area of the lung,” he said.

Last month, officials at Connecticut’s Westport Country Playhouse cited unspecified health issues when they announced that Newman would not direct Of Mice and Men this fall. Newman lives in Westport with his wife, Joanne Woodward.

It must have been a long, cold winter. First Jessica Alba had her baby and we’re still waiting on the Brangelina twins. Now, Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott are parents again.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and McDermott welcomed their second child — 6-pound, 8-ounce Stella Doreen McDermott — at a Los Angeles hospital Monday.

It’s the second child for the 35-year-old actress and the third for McDermott, who has a son from a previous marriage.

The couple, who wed in May 2006 and star in the Oxygen reality series Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, have a 1-year-old son, Liam Aaron. The third season of their reality show premieres June 17.

Jessica Alba and her husband, Cash Warren, welcomed their first child on Sunday.

Honor Marie Warren was born June 7 in Los Angeles.

Alba, 27, and Warren, 31, wed on May 19 at the Beverly Hills courthouse. The two met while working on Fantastic Four, for which Warren was the director's assistant. They became engaged last December.

As for the kind of parent she plans to be, the actress recently told Fit Pregnancy: “I don't want to be my child's best friend. I want to be a mom,” she said. “But I do want my child to come to me when they have problems and need to talk, so it's going to be about treading that line.”

Now we're just waiting on the Brangelina twins. Should be any day now!

Solitary confinement isn’t sitting well with Hulk Hogan’s son.

Nick Bollea is serving eight months in jail after pleading no contest to causing a crash that seriously injured his friend. The 17-year-old is being held in solitary confinement at the Pinellas County Jail’s medical ward because he’s too young to join the jail’s general population.

But Bollea’s lawyers say in a motion filed Friday the situation is causing him “unbearable anxiety.” They say he spends up to 17 hours a day alone in his cell and does not have access to amenities like educational programs.

They asked a judge to consider alternatives like releasing him with ankle monitoring until his 18th birthday or moving him to the jail’s minimum-security section.

Police say Academy Award-winning actress Tatum O’Neal has been arrested after buying crack cocaine near her home in Manhattan.

The 44-year-old actress was seen making the illicit purchase at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. She is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

When the detectives approached her, she reportedly asked them, "You know who I am, right?"
Then she told the detectives that she was just researching a part. "I'm doing this for a part as a junkie," she insisted, later begging the police, "Can't we just forget this?"

A clean pipe and screen were found on her person. Both O'Neal and her alleged source were arrested and taken to the NYPD's 7th Precinct.

O'Neal has three grown children with tennis star John McEnroe. According to the New York Post, she went to rehab in 1996, but her career has not been in recovery until recently. Her most acclaimed recent role is that of the alcoholic sister of Denis Leary's firefighter, Tommy Gavin, in "Rescue Me."

She still holds the record for being the youngest actor to win an Academy Award, for starring with her father in "Paper Moon." She was 10.

Did the Brangelina brood just increase by two? According to “Entertainment Tonight" it did. The web site reported today that Angelina Jolie has given birth to twins in France. Other news outlets, like People.com are saying it's all just a bunch of rumors.

No other details were immediately available, including the babies’ sex or when they were born. The TV show posted the report on its Web site, citing a source close to Jolie that it did not name.

The twins would be the fifth and sixth children for the couple. Their other children are 6-year-old Maddox, 4-year-old Pax, 3-year-old Zahara and 2-year-old Shiloh.

The pair recently moved into the Miraval Estate villa in the French hamlet of Correns, in the Provence region, according to the mayor and the inn’s owner.

According to its Web site, the Miraval estate dates from pre-Roman times. It includes fountains, aqueducts, moats, a lake and vineyards that produce an organic wine distributed worldwide.
Pitt and Jolie may be Miraval’s first movie stars in residence, but Miraval has seen its share of rock stars. The estate includes a studio which has hosted the likes of Sting, the Cranberries and Pink Floyd, who recorded tracks for “The Wall” album there.

Britney Spears is not yet fit to participate in court proceedings in her conservatorship case, her
lawyer told a Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner Thursday.

Samuel Ingham, Spears’ court-appointed attorney, and attorneys for the pop star’s father and conservator, James Spears, spent 90 minutes in Commissioner Reva Goetz’ chambers.
Ingham told the court afterward that Spears’ medical condition is “fluid” because her treatment is changing.

Spears’ probate case is scheduled to go to trial July 31, but Ingham said it could be “harmful” for her to participate. Goetz agreed and said Spears’ diagnosis is not complete.

The 26-year-old singer and her estate have been under the conservatorship of her father for four months.

A multimillion-dollar Long Island home at the center of a dispute between Grammy-nominated rapper 50 Cent and his former girlfriend was destroyed by a supicious fire early Friday.

The blaze occurred just days after a heated confrontation inside the woman’s attorney’s office over the home. 50 Cent does not live in the home and apparently wasn’t there at the time.
Six people inside the Dix Hills home were taken to a hospital suffering smoke inhalation. Police later said they were treated and released. A firefighter also suffered a minor eye injury, officials said.

Investigators from the Suffolk County arson squad were called to the scene after Dix Hills Fire Chief Larry Feld deemed the blaze suspicious. The fire was reported at 4:59 a.m. and was extinguished about 45 minutes later, Feld said.

He referred the case to the arson squad “because of the intensity of the fire, and also being that who belongs to the house.”

Police confirmed that the victims included the rapper’s former girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, and two of her children, including a son fathered by 50 Cent. The other three adults in the home were not immediately identified.

A passing off-duty police officer helped rescue the six people off an elevated deck in the home’s backyard, Feld said.

Earlier this year, Tompkins filed suit against 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, claiming he had promised her the $2.4 million house more than a decade ago, but that since their breakup he now wants to evict her and their 10-year-old son from the home.

Tompkins’ lawyer, Paul Catsandonis, told The Associated Press in a telephone interview that the dispute over the house had become “extremely, extremely contentious” in recent days. Although he declined to be specific, he said there was an “extremely dangerous incident” on Monday in his Manhattan office while taking a deposition for the lawsuit.
The dispute was “involving the parties in question,” he said.

The Internet is buzzing this morning with rumors that Lindsay Lohan is moving in with her DJ pal Samantha Ronson AND that they are engaged.

LiLo and Sam have been BFFs for some time now and there was always a question of whether they were more than just friends. Before Lindsay entered rehab last year, she was in the car with Ronson when it crashed in Beverly Hills. The two left the scene of the accident and police found cocaine in the car.

What seems like straight out of a scene from "Mean Girls," Lindsay Lohan is accused of stealing a fellow clubber's mink coat.

A New York City college student has sued Lindsay Lohan, claiming the starlet took her mink coat without permission and kept it for more than two weeks.

Maria Markova said in a lawsuit filed Monday that Lohan, 21, took the expensive golden sheared mink coat while in the nightclub 1 Oak on Jan. 26.

The 22-year-old Markova’s lawyer, Merrill Cohen, said Lohan had been sitting next to her client. Cohen said Markova next saw her coat on Lohan in a photo in OK! magazine.

Busted by the tabloids! That isn't a first.

Cohen said she called Lohan’s representatives and demanded the return of the coat. She said Markova got the coat back Feb. 14.

Lohan’s lawyer, Blair Berk, said it would be inappropriate to comment on the case.
Cohen said the lawsuit, filed in Manhattan’s state Supreme Court, asks unspecified damages.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are grinning like Cheshire cats right now because the two got married on Saturday.

Ash and Wentz tied the knot in an Alice in Wonderland theme wedding at Simpson's parents home in Encino, Calif. Ashlee's older sister, Jessica, was the maid of honor and Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo was her date.

People.com is saying that Ashlee and Pete confirmed that they are expecting their first child.

Angelina Jolie is indeed expecting twins, and it was Jack Black who let the news slip with a “Brady Bunch” crack.

Long rumored to have two children by Brad Pitt on the way, Jolie confirmed the news during a side-by-side Today show interview with Black, her Kung Fu Panda co-star. The two are in Cannes, France, promoting the animated film.

The twins will be the 5th and 6th children for Jolie and Pitt. She didn’t volunteer the information until Black dropped the hint, joking that the couple will “have as many as (the) ’Brady Bunch’ when you have these.”

“It’s confirmed?” followed Today interviewer Natalie Morales.
“Yeah, yeah, we’ve confirmed that already,” Jolie said. “Well, Jack’s just confirmed it actually.”
“Is that true?”, Black said jokingly.
“Yeah, you did,” Jolie replied.
“Sorry,” Black said.

The Daily News is reporting that when Roger was pitching for the Red Sox he was playing sugar daddy to the teen.

Clemens’ lawyer, Rusty Hardin, confirmed a long-term relationship but told the newspaper it was not sexual. “He flatly denies having had any kind of an inappropriate relationship with her,” he said. “He’s considered her a close family friend. ... He has never had a sexual relationship with her.”

Clemens was 28 and a married father of two when he first met McCready. The newspaper said Clemens sent cash to McCready to help her with legal issues and reached out to her when she was in jail last year in Tennessee.

Amy Winehouse has been arrested....and it's not for drugs. The retro-soul singer is being held on suspicion of assault at the Holborn Police Station.

Wino allegedly headbutted a guy while she was out at a bar earlier this week. We're not sure if the bee-hive softened the blow or not.

The max sentence in London for assault is six months in jail. If she goes, she will join her hubby, Blake Fielder-Civil who is already in the clinker.

Actress Sandra Bullock and her hubby, Jesse James, were unhurt after a head-on crash with a drunken driver in Gloucester, Mass.

The couple were driving in a sport-utility vehicle Friday night when a station wagon crossed the center line and hit them, said Gloucester police Lt. Jerry Cook.

Both vehicles were totaled, but no one was hurt. The vehicles were traveling 15 to 20 mph, Cook said.

The other car was driven by Lucille Gatchell, who registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.20 percent, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent, Cook said.

She was held by Gloucester police overnight and released Saturday on personal recognizance. She is to be arraigned Tuesday in Gloucester District Court.

Bullock is in the Bay State filming the romantic comedy "The Proposal."

Kevin Federline might play the part of the pauper to his pop princess ex-wife Britney Spears, but in Las Vegas he is king.

Federline spent more than $43,000 on Las Vegas hotels, dining and shopping between May 2007 and January of this year, according to documents filed by Federline’s attorney in his custody battle with Spears. The documents were released by the Superior Court on Thursday.
The tabs included $1,445 for clothing at Gianni Versace, $3,863 at TAO nightclub, and $3,008 at the Hard Rock Beach Club.

He appears determined not to be branded a cheap tipper. At Scores strip club, he dropped a cool $2,000 on a $365 meal bill.

Meanwhile, his company, Gooseneck Productions, Inc., spent $841,129 in 2007 while earning $544,075, according to the documents.

The aspiring rapper also spent big on attempts to prop up his struggling music career. Federline had $74,102 in “music production” expenses, but earned only $9,849 in “music income,” according to the documents, which did not elaborate.

The Superior Court commissioner dealing with the Federline-Spears custody battle has consistently awarded Federline attorneys fees. In March, Spears’ divorce attorney, Stacy Phillips, argued that Federline’s attorneys were overbilling, and her client should not be required to pay. Federline still owed $343,834 in fees to his attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, when the documents released Thursday were filed in January.

Spears pays her ex-husband $15,000 per month in child support for 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James. Her monthly spousal support payments of $20,000 ended in November.

Federline also pays $18,228 per month in child support, rent and private school tuition for his two children from a previous relationship.

They may be pushing 40, but the New Kids are returning to the block.

The Boston boy band New Kids on the Block, which sold 70 million albums in the 1980s and early ’90s, has reunited and plans to release a new album and go on tour. The reunion comes 20 years after the release of the group’s multiplatinum album, “Hanging Tough.”

“The fan response to this has been incredible,” band member Donnie Wahlberg told the Boston Herald.

Wahlberg said he was persuaded to get back together with his former bandmates — Joey McIntyre, brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood — when they decided to record new music. Wahlberg said he wrote 80 percent of the new material with McIntyre and Jordan Knight.

“I had no interest going out on a nostalgia tour and singing the same material,” said Wahlberg, 38. But he added: “We absolutely will do the old songs for sure.”

Producer Maurice Starr formed the group in Beantown in the 1980s, hoping to recreate the success he had with another teen group from Boston, New Edition.

At the height of their popularity, New Kids sold out world tours, marketed millions of dollars in merchandise and spawned a Saturday morning cartoon.

The group disbanded in 1994. Wahlberg has acted on television and in movies, while Jordan Knight, McIntyre and Wood released solo albums. Jonathan Knight became a real estate developer.

A jury in the Bahamas investigating the death of Anna Nicole Smith's son Daniel has ruled it was caused by an accidental drug overdose, recommending no criminal charges be filed.

The jury unanimously concluded Daniel died from "non-dependent drug use" -- meaning he wasn't addicted to what killed him.

Rumor was that his mother's lawyer/boyfriend gave him a lethal dose of whatever drugs killed him. Howard K Stern will be cleared of any wrong doing.

A man charged with stalking Tyra Banks has been ordered to stay away from the talk-show host or face going to jail.

Brady Green, according to a criminal complaint, has followed Banks from coast to coast since January, sent her letters and flowers, and tried to telephone her. Last week he was issued a court order requiring him to leave her alone.

Green, of Dublin, Ga., was arrested when he showed up several times March 18 at the Manhattan building where The Tyra Banks Show is taped and asked to speak to her, a misdemeanor complaint filed in Criminal Court says.

Banks also hosts the CW reality show America’s Next Top Model.

The complaint says building custodian Edward Troiano told police Green also had appeared at Banks’ Los Angeles studio “on multiple occasions” and asked to speak to her. He said Green had sent her letters and flowers there and had tried to reach her there by telephone at least five times, the complaint says.

Banks, 34, told police that Green’s actions had caused her to fear that she was in danger.
Police charged Green, 37, with stalking, criminal trespass and harassment. After his arraignment last Wednesday on the charges, Criminal Court Judge Anthony Ferrara released him without bail and ordered him to return to court May 13. Prosecutors said they did not have an address for Green, who likely could face up to a year in jail if convicted.

The always classy Mickey Rourke pleaded guilty to reckless driving following his arrest on a Vespa near Miami Beach in November.

The actor was pulled over while driving a blue-green scooter with a blonde babe on the back. When Rourke was cuffed, he allegedly swore at the arresting officer. Thursday was no different, Rourke told The Palm Beach Post, “I’m friends with most cops in the city and they told me the guy who got me isn’t even liked by his colleagues. He’s a 400-pound (expletive) unfit for duty.”

Rourke was sentenced to six months of probation, ordered to pay a fine and serve 50 hours of community service. Instead of serving the time, he was allowed to buy the hours at $10 per hour so he wouldn't have to serve.

“The only thing he has to do is take an online driving course,” said his lawyer, Michael Grieco.

When the Post reporter asked who the mystery blonde was with him the night he was arrested Rourke said, “Don't ask me her name. I have no idea who she was. I met her in a bar and never saw her again.”

Joe Francis' time spent in jail was well worth it. A week after being released his next millions of dollars was handed to him by the former govenor of New York. Elliot Spitzer's call girl, Alexandra Dupre. She was captured on film for his soft porn industry, "Girls Gone Wild" a few year back celebrating her 18th birthday in Florida.

Miley Cyrus, whose given name is Destiny Hope Cyrus, has filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court to change her full legal name to Miley Ray Cyrus.

The 15-year-old singer and TV star is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, who filed the papers last Friday with wife Leticia. Her father writes in the filing that the request was “to make her commonly used name the same as her legal name.”

The name-change request was first reported by the celebrity Web site TMZ.com.

Miley Cyrus has said her father gave her the nickname “Smiley Miley” as a baby because of her sunny disposition. On the Disney Channel tween hit “Hannah Montana,” she plays a teen who hides her singing stardom.

Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus are hosting the Country Music Television ceremony together at Nashville’s Belmont University on April 14.

For the second time in a year, Britney Spears, will attempt a career comeback. The fallen pop princess will appear on the CBS show How I Met Your Mother.

Not sure who would want Britney to meet their mother, but who’s judging?

Spears will guest star in a March 24 episode of the cult series, CBS spokeswoman Kelli Raftery told The Associated Press on Tuesday. The pop star will portray a receptionist in a dermatologist’s office named Abby who becomes “smitten” with Ted, played by actor Josh Radnor.

Craig Thomas, the show’s creator, told Usmagazine.com that Ms. Spears attended a table reading with the cast on Monday, and that her films will probably be filmed later this week. He said representatives for Spears approached CBS about “Mother” because “she was looking for a small part on a funny show.”

Guess the girl needs a good laugh.

Spears has previous TV sitcom experience playing a character on a 2006 episode of Will and Grace and also was the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live in 2000.

Following in the footsteps of his big sis, Barron Hilton was charged with misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence, unlawful use of a license and unlicensed driving. The Los Angeles District Attorney filed charges officially yesterday.

The 18-year-old little bro of Paris Hilton was arrested on Feb. 12 in Malibu after his blood alcohol level was registered at .08 — above the legal limit.

Papa knows best

Britney Spears’ father still wants a piece of her and he will get it. Jamie Spears will retain control over his daughter’s personal and business affairs until July 31, a court spokesman said yesterday. The ruling by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz was made on Wednesday, said spokesman Allan Parachini.

The court placed Brit’s assets under the co-conservatorship of her father and attorney Andrew Wallet after Spears was hospitalized twice in January for psychiatric evaluation. The conservatorship was set to expire on March 10.

It has been a downward spiral for Spears since she split with her ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2006. In the year leading up to the hospitalizations, Spears had been caught on camera by paparazzi engaging in increasingly bizarre behavior. She shaved her head, beat a vehicle with an umbrella, wore skirts sans underwear, donned a pink wig and left her car on a busy thoroughfare after getting a flat tire. The Louisiana native also has adopted a British accent — like her hero, Madonna.

Her behavior caused the fallen pop princess to lose custody of her two sons, Jayden James, 1, and Sean Preston, 2. K-Fed continues to have full custody and she was allowed brief visits with the boys beginning in late February after not seeing them for nearly two months.

Hard time for soft core

Girls Gone Wild mogul Joe Francis has lost his bid to be released from a Nevada jail without fear of being extradited to Florida.

The 34-year-old video empire founder is facing trial in Nevada for tax evasion. He’s wanted in Florida on charges related to filming underage girls on spring break. Francis has been jailed for nearly a year while caught in a tug-of-war between the two states.

On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Brian Sandoval denied arguments by Francis’ lawyers that would have freed Francis, but kept Florida prosecutors from jailing him.
Francis has made millions selling videos of often inebriated women exposing themselves.

Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter will inherit her late mother’s estate.

A Los Angeles judge on Tuesday not only made 18-month-old Dannielynn Hope the sole heir, but also set up a trust in the girl’s name. Should be some craddle robbing going on in the near future.

Her father, Larry Birkhead, and Smith’s executor, Howard K. Stern, will be co-trustees.
Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff granted a petition filed by Stern, who wanted to clarify Smith’s intentions toward her daughter. Smith drafted a will in 2001 — five years before the child was born — that left her estate to her then only child, Daniel. However, it said the assets in Daniel’s trust should be shared equally if she had future children.
Daniel was 20 when he died in 2006, three days after Dannielynn was born.

Dannielynn could inherit millions of dollars if the estate wins an ongoing court fight over the oil fortune of Smith’s late second husband, J. Howard Marshall. Smith at one point won a $474 million judgment but it was eventually reduced to zero. In 2006, the U.S. Supreme Court reinstated her claim, but Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg wrote that Marshall didn’t include anything for Smith in his will.

King of white trash, Kid Rock, pleaded not guilty to a charges of battery from a fight at a Waffle House in Atlanta.

Robert James Ritchie, AKA Kid Rock, was not present for the plea. His attorney, Darryl Cohen, waived an arraignment hearing and entered the plea on his behalf in DeKalb County State Court.

Last October, Kid Rock and five members of his entourage were arrested on a misdemeanor charge of simple battery. The fight started after the group popped into Atlanta Waffle House following a performance at The Tabernacle.

Officials say punches were thrown after a customer recognized one of the groupies and exchanged words with her....wonder what those words could have been? Maybe one began with a "w"?

Kid Rock and his crew responded and a fight ensued. No Tommy Lees were hurt in this fight.

Obama’s girls

Paris Hilton is not hot according to America’s potential future first daughters and they don’t want a piece of Britney Spears either. Presidential hopeful Barack Obama told Us Weekly that his two children are fans of Hannah Montana and Beyoncé, but think anything to do with Hilton or Spears is “yuck.”

The Democratic contender says daughters, Malia, 9, and Sasha, 6, got to meet Beyoncé backstage at a concert and “they just love her to death.”

“They’re pretty down on Britney and Paris and all of that. They think that’s very ‘yuck,”’ he said.

As for his wife, Michelle, Obama said she has a star crush on Stevie Wonder.

“I’ve been teasing her because Stevie fell off the stage at one of our events,” Obama said. “I said to her, ‘This is your favorite performer, and you push him off the stage?’ Fortunately, he was OK.”

The lingerie company that made its name by plastering leggy Brazilian glamazons on billboards admits it has pushed the envelope a little to much.

“We’ve so much gotten off our heritage ... too sexy, and we use the word sexy a lot and really have forgotten the ultra feminine,” said Sharen Turney, Victoria’s Secret’s chief executive, in a call with industry analysts.

The chain was started in San Francisco in 1977 by Roy Raymond, who said he was embarrassed trying to buy lingerie for his wife and hoped to provide a comfortable place for men to shop. It was launched with the idea that Victoria was manor-born and lived in London, Turney said. Yet the store is not for the girl next door, selling lacy push-up bras with names like the Very Sexy and Secret Embrace.

“I feel so strongly about us getting back to our heritage and really thinking in terms of ultra feminine and not just the word sexy and becoming much more relevant to our customer,” Turney said Thursday.

Brown is not the only musician having a few scrapes with the law. Amy Winehouse’s lawyer asked a district court to postpone a hearing for the British singer-songwriter, who is accused of drug possession.

The beehived trainwreck and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, were arrested in the western city of Bergen last October. They were charged with of possessing 1/4 ounce of marijuana and released the next morning after paying fines of $715 each.

The tattooed songstress later appealed the fine, claiming Norwegian police made mistakes in the case. A court hearing is scheduled tomorrow.

Winehouse, 24, won five Grammy Awards earlier this month, including best record, best song and best new artist.

Mischa, Mischa, Mischa!

She is not a musician, but she is still in trouble. Actress Mischa Barton, who on “The O.C.” played a wealthy teenager in idyllic Orange County, got a dose of reality Tuesday when she was charged with four misdemeanors related to a drinking and driving arrest last year.

The former star of “The O.C.” was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving while having a 0.08 percent or higher blood alcohol level, driving without a valid license and possession of 28.5 grams or less of marijuana, according to court papers.

In a statement, Barton attorney Anthony V. Salerno said he was pleased his client was only charged with misdemeanors.

“The D.A.’s office is to be commended for treating this case the same as it would any other matter; Ms. Barton has received no special treatment,” Salerno said.
Barton was arrested Dec. 27 in West Hollywood after sheriff’s deputies saw her car straddling two lanes of traffic and failing to signal for a turn. She is scheduled to be arraigned on today in Beverly Hills Superior Court.

Barton played Marissa Cooper on “The O.C.” from 2003 to 2006, who dabbled in drugs and alcohol and eventually died in a car crash. In May, Barton was hospitalized for two hours after an antibiotic she was taking interacted badly with alcohol.

If has-been rapper Bobby Brown wants to do a few lines of cocaine — that’s his prerogative. And the courts seem to agree.

Whitney Houston’s ex-hubby Brown will not face criminal charges after police said they found a small amount of cocaine in his possession. A Brockton District Court clerk magistrate found no probable cause to issue a criminal complaint, but recommended that Brown volunteer to mentor young people.

Brown agreed to a year’s community service and his attorney said if no other issues arise over the next year, the matter will be struck from the docket.

The rapper’s trouble all started when police responding to a disturbance at a Brockton hotel on Dec. 1. They said they found the 39-year-old Brown sitting in an SUV in the parking lot, with cocaine in his possession.

The Boston native is the former husband of singer Whitney Houston and stars in the CMT Network show “Gone Country.”

The singer/actress gave birth to twins this morning shortly after midnight. The 5-pound, 7-ounce girl arrived first, followed by her 6-pound brother minutes later.

J Lo and Anthony married in 2004. The twins are her first children, and his third and fourth.

One of Britney Spears’ legal battles came to a screeching halt yesterday when the judge deemed her incompetent to resolve the matter.

Superior Court Judge T.K. Herman continued the fallen pop princess’s driving-without-a-license case until March 20. Unfitney was charged with the misdemeanor after she hit a parked car in
August and left without leaving a note on the windshield. Of course, the hordes of paparazzi caught Brit breaking the law all on film. The original charge was a hit-and-run, but that was later dropped.

Lawyer J. Michael Flanagan said Spears’ conservatorship attorneys “do not think she is qualified or capable of entering into a binding agreement” at this time. They also are skeptical that she is capable of giving a deposition or signed declaration, Flanagan said.

Earlier this month, a judge placed Spears under the conservatorship of her father and an attorney after more than a year of increasingly bizarre behavior including a buzz cut, pink wig, hospitalization and adopting a foreign accent.

Sorry Heff, New York Magazine got Lindsay Lohan to take off her clothes before you could. The always sensational attention grabbing star posed for photographer Bert Stern in a series of pictures mimicing Marilyn Monroe's "The Last Sitting" from 1962.

Despite her parents efforts, Britney Spears left UCLA Medical Center yesterday over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist.

Brit's father and mother, Jamie and Lynne Spears, released a joint statement given through their attorney, saying they were “extremely disappointed” to learn their daughter had been discharged.

“We are deeply concerned about our daughter’s safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk,” the statement said. “We ask only that the court’s orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted.”

Brit left yesterday and after visiting with her lawyer is allegedly still holed up in the Beverly Hills Hotel with Adnan Ghalib, her paparazzo boytoy.

Brit's father, who has been named conservator of her, cut off all her credit cards so no food or services could be sent to her hotel room. He is said to be in a Los Angeles court this morning.

Like Britney Spears, Delta Burke has checked herself into a psychiatric hospital last week for depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and hoarding.

The 51-year-old former "Designing Woman" has told TMZ that being a pack rat has ruined her life.

We wonder who else Britney will inspire to check themselves into the mental ward? Maybe Gary Busey...

Now that Brit has been hospitalized for about a week, the court made some rulings yesterday. Her father, Jamie, will remain the co-conservator of Britney's estate through Feb. 14, but he does not have the authority to fire Trope and Trope, Brit's divorce lawyers. Also, Brit's shady "manager" is to have no contact with the falling pop star through e-mails, phone contact or third parties.

There will be a hearing soon to determine how mentally competent Britney is.

Actress Eva Mendes is at Cirque Lodge in Utah and has been there for several weeks. The Lodge is where Lindsay Lohan got sober last year.

Her rep told TMZ, "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva's privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details."

Britney Spears was taken to the hospital early this morning in Los Angeles. It is said that Spears is on a "5150," meaning a three-day psychiatric hold at the UCLA Medical Center.

Many media outlets are reporting that Brit's psychiatrist went to her home. The shrink believed she was a danger to herself and others. Also reported was that she went without a fight.
