It's finally here. Today is the first day of filming for The Fighter and it is causing quite a buzz. Out and about on Friday and Saturday night, the chatter at local watering holes was of Mark Wahlberg sightings.

We heard from an astute bartender that filming is taking place today at the Westford Regency. Film crews who hang at a particular downtown Lowell lounge we talking about scenes they are shooting at the suburban respite.
