We are not too sure what the truth is, but it seems the Ricky Gervais comedy that was filmed in Lowell last spring has changed its name. On IMDB.com, the flick formerly known as "This Side of the Truth" has been changed to "The Invention of Lying." It also pushed the movie’s release date from fall of 2009 to 2010.

The flick brought Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe, Jonah Hill, Loius CK and Philip Seymour Hoffman to the Mill City. Scenes were shot at numerous locations across Lowell including the Dubliner, Cobblestones, Athenian Corner and La Boniche.
