Round One to Blake??
Waiting on a commerical here. Whoa! 4-0 Sox. Mike Lowell just went deep (I missed that one).
All righty, back to Fox, let's see what we have here. Long commericial break. At least three minutes by my count. Time for a "So You Think You Can Dance" promo. Doesn't look too interesting. On the other hand, the season finale of "House" looks good.
Each will sing three songs.
Blake Lewis sings first. He's singing "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi. He's got that beat box thing going again. Very cool and original. He's moving around a lot. He still can't sing, but he does sound effects just as good as that guy from "Police Academy." Randy Jackson gives him a 10 out of 10 for beat boxing, but everyone agrees he lacks singing, but gives a great performance. Simon liked it.
By the way, Randy Jackson looks like he's wearing a jacket borrowed from Michael Jackson.
And here's Jordin Sparks. She's singing a Christina Aguilera song called "Fighter." Sparks is a better singer, but I think she's boring. She fits the "Idol" champ mold, though. Let's see what the judges say:
Randy: You were stellar.
Paula: You were stellar (original, Paula)
Simon: I'm gonna call Round One to Blake.
