Peach Pit

If you’ve just returned home and finished off the only nice day of the long weekend click quickly to SoapNet (Comcast Channel 244) to watch the six-hour “Beverly Hills, 90210 marathon. It runs today from 5 to 11 p.m. and is a fun trip down memory lane.
Have fun! And remember: “Donna Martin Graduates! It’s so cheesy, but so good.

I love watching marathon's of shows. I never have enough time to always catch the same show every week. I've been good with prison break. That's about it. The best re-runs are on a sunday. It makes it easier to have the time. Could always buy a Tivo is suppose...
How many of the main characters off this show have had careers since? The same amount as the cast of "Saved by the bell". Like two, maybe three. A shame, but some actors get stuck in the 'star wars' rut. Only good with a certain group of people. Then when on their own, don't really go anywhere. Maybe a lifetime channel movie or two. The character 'Kelley' (mispell?) has her own show, a mother/daughter comedy

J-Mann,
You are right about most of the "Beverly Hills, 90210" stars — they haven't done much since the show ended in 2000.
But you have to consider this: They worked on a show that lasted 10 years — that's a lifetime in television and I'm sure if they invested wisely they are set for life.
Ironically, Oscar-winner Hilary Swank, who was fired from the show, has garnered the most success.

I watched the marathon and as an avid 90210 fan (I am not ashamed to admit I have every episode on tape and can not wait until the DVDs are released this winter) I was disappointed with the episodes they chose.
Out of the 296 episodes that aired during the 10 year run there were way better ones they could have showed; like the season premiere of season 2 "Wild Fire" where we met Emily Valentine or the high school or college graduation episodes-
not too mention "The Final Goodbye" was not worth watching again, it was nice to see when the show first ended but not after all these years.
Also, instead of replaying the marathon at 5 p.m. they could have shown 6 more episodes and not cut the pilot - that really annoyed me that they didn't air the entire pilot.

In response to J-Mann's comment about the actors not doing much....
Tori Spelling had her "reality" show "So NoTorious" on VH1 this past year.
Jennie Garth starred on "What I Like About You" which just ended last year after 4 seasons.
Shannen Doherty starred on "Charmed" for 4 seasons, hosted the Sci-Fi show "Scare Tactics",was on the short lived prime time soap "North Shore" and now has a show on Oxygen "Breaking up with Shannen Doherty."
Luke Perry was on HBO's "OZ", starred in the short lived Jeramiah" and is on NBC's "Windfall."
Tiffani Thiessen has several guest star spots on "Just Shoot Me", "Two Guys and a Girl" and had one of the leads on Fox's "Fastlane."
Jason Priestly tried his hand at auto racing until his accident, guest starred on "What I Like About You" and "Tru Calling"
Not too mention most of the cast have done Made for TV movies - it seems Ian Ziering, Brian Green and Gabrielle Carteris (although she did have her own talk show at one point) are the only ones who haven't done much since they left 90210.
OK, I'm done babbling.

Um...Ian Ziering and Brian Green played themselves in Domino - great movie by the way. Does that count in their career?
