Racial Surviving

survivorcook.jpg
CBS’ “Survivor reality TV show this year will divide teams among the races: black, white, Asian and Hispanic. Each tribe will compete on the show’s 13th edition, “Survivor: Cook Islands, which premieres Sept. 14.

This is an obvious ratings ploy and to be honest — I really don’t know how I feel about this — I guess I don’t care.

One thing’s for sure, super liberal Katie Couric, who is slated to start anchoring CBS’ national news must not be too happy about her new network. Boo-hoo, Katie.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Does this idea offend you? Drop me a line.

I will admit that Survivor is one of "my" shows. But this race angle is to prove what? Which race is superior? And as long as they are doing the race thing... what about the Native Americans?

Val — This show, in my opinion, is not out to prove anything. Ratings slipped, so it's time for a ploy. My guess: The premiere may draw extra attention, but the audience will fall off.

Wonder if Richard Hatch will watch? Can he?
