You Don't Know Jack!
If you are looking for a Jack Bauer fix and can’t wait until “24� returns in January, go rent or buy “The Sentinel.�
The conspiracy theory action flick also stars Michael Douglas and Eva Longoria and was released yesterday on DVD.
Although the story is fairly predictable — a plot against the U.S. President — it’s fun to see Kiefer Sutherland barking orders, gunning down bad guys and unraveling an elaborate frame job.

Essentially, "The Sentinel" is a condensed season of 24, with plenty of drama and action. Keifer basically plays Jack Bauer in this movie, and although I would prefer to watch 24, this movie is a solid substitute for the show.

In this flick, Keifer Sutherland played a character (Fox) viewers know and love to give a reasonable excuse to cast Eva Longoria in a role other than that of a housewife who finds herself Young and Restless or Desperate. It did help pass the time during a 14 hour flight over the Pacific though.
