The power's still on ...
Utilities are reporting few problems.
About 60 Dracut homes lost power this morning following a car accident, but National Grid restored power quickly.
As of 1:30, about 1,500 homes in National Grid's service area had no electricity, most of those in Methuen and Haverhill. The lower end of the Merrimack Valley is fine for now.
Unitil, which underwent intense pressure for its response to the December storm, has more than 90 crews ready, and opened an Energy Information Center to work with town officials and the media.
It also reports few problems.
