School cancellations? Supers watch, wait
School superintendents are facing a tough call with the incoming storm.
Sun reporter Jack Minch spoke to several superintendents on Tuesday who said they are not worried about getting kids to school, but getting them home in the afternoon. Tewksbury School Superintendent Christine McGrath says she's be up at 4:15 a.m. to assess the situation.
Most schoolchildren returned on Monday, having missed a couple of days; North Middlesex students missed nearly two weeks. But Ayer Superintendent George Frost told Minch that has nothing to do with his decision; if it's not safe, kids are staying home, he said.
We'll be posting school cancellations as they become available.
